retrokinght 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2010 Hi, am now deciding between ariston hob NIC 641 B and brandt hob TI612BT1. Anyone have got experience or reviews on either of this 2 hobs?
GoalHome 1 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 he two popular brands in this forum for induction hob seems to be Brandt and Bosch. How much is the Brandt TI612BT1? The 4-zones Bosch PIE645T14E RRP is $2069. Fyi, Mayer had a warehouse sale last weekend and the 4-zones induction hob was going for about 50% discount off their normal price if i remember correctly. You may want to check out the other discussion threads on Mayer's customer service level before you do the purchase.

4d_striker 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 I would love to install a single zone induction hob and single zone gas hob. Is there any such combination in the market or just my wishful thinking?

benlauhh 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 Brandt is made in France as is its premium sister brand De Dietrich. It's targeted more as the standard economical appliance. Glass top is made by Eurokera. Heard that their glass top is not as good compared to Schott Ceran. Bosch induction hobs are made in Spain. They use Schott Ceran glass tops. Ariston hobs should be made in Italy. Using Schott Ceran as well. For more continental brands of induction hobs, one may choose to check out the Harvey Norman at Millenia, and this one shop at top level in Centerpoint.
