Size Of Round Dining Table Relative Chairs

Hi guys,

I'm interested to get a round dining table with 8 chairs. How do you decide the size to get , using the diameter calculation? The width of the chair is 50 cm.

Let's say if I get a 40 cm chair width, will the size have to be scaled down proportionately?

For those of you who have a round dining table at home, are you able to push all your chairs in? I find being able to push all the chairs in will look neater.
