kiddboy 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 (edited) hi, sure. i am still waiting for my agent to send me the scan photo of the current unit. i let him keep the valuation report cos i am afraid i will forget to bring it during our 1st appointment. the seller did was open up the kitchen wall (open kitchen concept). this was the unit that when my wife saw it, she likes it and then we signed it after 2 days. the other work the seller did was at the TV console area. they in-build the TV console into the wall. this mean they hack the wall and sacrifice about 10% of the bedroom 3 space. i estimate it about 0.5m deep. this give more space between the sofa and TV console. it will be about 2.5m distance (that will depend on my new sofa size). the other work the seller it was that they build in the shoes cabinet and also cover up the HS. all in carpentry work. the kitchen is in the full set and new condition. the laminated with glossy white (my wife loves it). so, may be i need to have a close inspect again to see any touch up work needed. for the MBR, the seller did the WIW at the air-con ledge corner. it is beautiful. kiddboy 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 (edited) 1. what i am planning to do is the living room floor. the current one is the laminated floor and the condition is not good. even thought this unit is about 6 yrs old. so, i may use the ceramic flooring. i want it white and shine. 2. i am going to do up the common toilet and the MBR toilet. both toilets are very original from HDB. the seller did the build-in bathtub at the MBR. what i am intenting to do is to have the print spray on the toilet tile the colour we want. we don't wanna hack and redo everything. wanna keep the cost down. we want to change the toilet bowls and basins, to have a small cabinet at the bottom of the basin for storage purposes and of course install the shower glass screen at the common toilet. the MBR have the shower glass screen and attached on the build-in bathtub. so need to inspect to see any touch-up work. i am going to change up the MBR toilet door to glass door (open concept? still deciding). install big mirror on both toilet. 3. we are going to install ceiling fans for all rooms, dinning area. the living room has a ceiling fan installed. it comes with light. so, i am still decide whether to change it or have it install elsewhere. 4. install A/C for the living room only. all rooms already have a A/C from the seller and it is still look new (the casing is not yellowish). will need to inspect to see whether it is till in working condition. e.g. the remote sensor. this usually goes first after some time of usage. 5. doing up some lighting for the MBR and the living/dinning area. this will come with the basic downlight with L-box. keep it simple and yet cozy. and also redo the MBR A/C piping. current one expose too much (a/c piping casing) and it looks messy. so, i believe the A/C were installed recently. the other 2 bedroom A/C pipe casing work are ok. very new and nicely done. no paint on it yet. the grills for all windows are all installed. very new from my last view. so, can save that up.
