ossify 1 Report post Posted May 18, 2010 16ft? omg...tats alot...gallery style like ossify? quote i got for s/s top with sink for 8ft is $1.3k leh...would be cheaper without sink...can squeese your id! haha.. you could also do without backsplash it you are not cooking on that side of the kitchen, save costs... can try if you really like the look...countertop is one of the stuff which is harder to replace, compared to washer, fridge, furniture...so we decided to go for it and buy cheaper furnishing...like the free shoe rack! haha! My kitchen is actually 8ft bottom + 8ft top + 6ft bottom. my "dry kitchen" is 2ft bottom + 2ft top. Wet = 22ft, dry = 4ft. Total = 26ft I am still contemplating of doing another 6ft above my sink... Countertop is easy to replace. Let me know when you want to replace. I have direct contact from supplier, Dupont or LG also can ooohhh.... dupont isit from corian? might want to do solid surface at a later stage in the bathroom... Corian is from Dupont it's called Dupont Corian. Dupont Montelli is the cheaper range. Dupont Corian is the more expensive range. Let me know when you want to do I have plenty of samples. gimz63251073 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2010 We have made so many changes to arrive at this final layout....realised we didnt put this up! may change the WIW area to industrial shelvings...thinking of doing a "retail like" changing room, like those with a mirror and curtains... as you can see, the common bedroom is left pretty much untouched. no plans to use it for anything yet, maybe keep our books ba... but yet to figure out how... gimz63251073 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2010 no wc in the MBR bath? will u be doing a shower screen in there? you can use your common room as a study or else where you gonna put your computer? oh we dismantled the WC in the MBR to make way for the shower screen. No door in MBR toilet. we both use netbooks at home, so no need to allocate space for computers. Just need powerpoints (we got alot of them, ) common room would eventually be our kid's room so i am trying to keep it as empty as we could. Just put books, table and some chairs there.
