We are just giving our point of view & experience.. hehe Anyway, we have already used them and had no choice... have to used them till the completion. That time, i even want to to CASE to review on this case! haha We can't change them like agent.. lols ur case go CASE. They cannot handle one. lawyer must go to Lawyer Society. Lawyer Society think very hard to complain one.. think need deposit. Anyway, my case is closed liao lah.. now only wait for the bank to pay the subsidy to them, then they can issue me my bal $$. But they don't take email complain. if want to complain but write in. Sign. Basically a lot of letter flying around. Bank don't dictate which lawyer. Normally your banker will recommend a lawyer to you if you don't have. If you happen to use the lawyer your banker recommended. Your banker has referrer commission Correction: Bank officer do not receive commission from lawyers. If lawyers are paying the bank officer for the referral, kindly refer your lawyer to the Law Society for "touting" of business. Fine + potential suspension. Law Society forbades lawyers to hand out "referral" fees or any part of the professional fee to referrers. Bank officer can also get suspended or sacked, this is a breach of compliance On the other hand, agents have worked with law firms in the longest time to swing clients over to use the particular law firm and get more legal fee. My family member just bought a house, I want to make sure they don't use the same terrible lawyer. You can pm me if you are worried of bieing sued (but I don't think the terrible lawyers can do that since both of you were just sharing your true experiences).
