Bought 2x Grohe Concetto taps for toilet basins at the recently ended Grohe Warehouse Sale. With GST about $106 each. Not too sure is it a good price or not.

View from my low unit

By refering to my floorplan above first post

Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 view

<img src="http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b81/nick/Renovation/bedroomview.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Living room, study room and masterbedroom view

<img src="http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b81/nick/Renovation/livingview.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

I like it that non of the windows above are facing a block that is too close, in fact the opposite blocks are quite far away. Only exception is my kitchen window, which I can throw a stone into the opposite block unit. Open air carpark, so I park beneath my block.

Kitchen with the cabinets hacked. The concrete sink and stove support will be hacked away too and i will rebuilt a sink support in concrete. Stove support will be part of the new kitchen cabinet to be built, with solid surface top.

Kitchen looks very long and spacious because the storeroom was hacked away by previous owner. See the white pipe running from floor to ceiling? The original storeroom was until that pipe. I will be rebuilding back my storeroom, thus cutting my kitchen size by half.

Kitchen and storeroom after tiles and floor hacked. They are rebuilding the storeroom that was hacked away by previous owner, with hollow bricks. See how small is the kitchen now?

hws ur reno?

Going well. We engaged contractors and not IDs, so we r also doing most of the "designing" ourselves.

Took us countless trips to the tile shops, hours and hours spent there browsing browsing choosing choosing. When we finished with the tiles choosing and how we wanna match the wall tiles, it was a big load off our shoulder.

Dining area and main entrance before and after hack

You can see the entrance into the kitchen at the far end.

Over that far corner, I will be building a small study area with partitioning, glass windows and glass sliding door. This will cut my dining area by half, making it smaller and less spacious. This also means I will end up with 5 rooms in my tiny HDB flat.

Living room before and after hack

On the left side is the 2 doors to 2 bedrooms. Right side is a door to another room, the study. The door on the right was not suppose to be there, the previous owner relocated it. Now I got to relocate it back to original location because I wanna place my sofa set there. haiz.
