hello nofear,

you post the pix of your living room to see see first.

as for bedroom, in my opinion, to make it cosy, soft furnishings very important: curtains, design of the bedsheets, carpets...

lightings also.... never go for white lights, cos it's too harsh... get some table lamps, mood lightings etc...

renovation is a big headache for a newbie like me... from planning, designing, pricing, purchasing, negotating and cleaning!!! the worst is in choosing a contractor!!! think i have seen more than 10 of them...headache manz... restricted with a tight budget and yet i want my house to look lovely... so happie that renov is completed...i love my kitchen and the rain showers! thanks to my contractor who was always on the ball helping out... however, i regretted telling him there is no need to design my bedroom and the living room console due to budget...my biggest mistake... so planning to enter into the next phase of renov now... to make my bedroom more cosy and to beautify my living room tv console areas... is wallpaper , featured wall a good idea?

Hi No Fear,

Yes, agree with you that it is important to get a good and on the ball guy to help you coordinate your reno.....

My ID also help me a lot in this aspect....I feedback to him and he do all the dirty jobs.....

In my opinion, since your house are done up, you may want to opt for nice wallpaper to enhance the design, else if doing feature wall, you have to end up cleaning all over again....

My two cents worth...

Ya, I agree too.. nice wallpaper and buy a simple low shelf TV console will be great too..

Hi Angteko, thanks for your compliment. I still feel cozy in my bedroom and living room... would be better if i can make it nicer... am considering to have those plasterboards to plaster the hole behind my bed and cover it with wallpaper...

I bought my dining set at Sungei Kadut... heehee think abt 700 bucks... i saw the same set selling btwn 900-1300 in some other shops.

Wallpaper is good, but need to be very good at matching. And exp also.

Thats a good price. I got it from JB and it cost me 700 as well. But not sure is it the same, as the table stand is very similar.

Which shop in particular did u get it from?

Do u have issue with your legs when u sit in?
