Increase Ceiling Height

I'm staying on the top floor and it comes with a pitched roof.

As I'll re-doing the entire false ceiling, I'm wondering whether it is possible for me to create a 'pitched' false ceiling as shown below.

Did open up some part of the ceiling and this is how the existing roofing looks like.
