epigram 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2010 it has been such a hectic 1 1/2 weeks. immediately after getting keys, had site meeting to finalise as many details as possible. bought the kitchen sink but not tap - planning to match with bathroom mixer. then it was mad shopping rush for TV, dishwasher and induction hob. hacking started mid week and had another site meeting to finalise more details. finalised choice of aircon. agonised over replacing existing spec condensors and fan coil units or to "upsize". the hot weather recently tipped the scales and i decided to "upsize". hope the aircon will keep us cool! settled number of down lights. bought them. also decided on legrand switches - will have to tell electrician. bought the common bathroom mixer and kitchen tap and sanitary fittings. wondering whether to get matching mixer for bath & shower or "upsize" "upgrade". another problem is that the bath and shower sets both come with a basin tap. i need a bath mixer and a shower mixer but i only need 1 tap. what to do with the extra tap? ebay? would there be any takers for a Hansgrohe Focus E2 basin tap? settled water heater too. rushed around many places this weekend and learnt a lot but the to-do list is reducing; hopefully it will be lower stress week ahead! Have you tried panasonic AWASEWAZA NN-SV30YPQ? I'm thinking along these 2, which Sharp at $300 cheaper as compared to that of Panasonic but however just wasn't convinced that I should be forking out $300 more for panasonic just because its made in japan while Sharp is made in Thailand. epigram 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2010 Can you share on the performance of Sharp healsio water oven AX-1500V? Have you tried panasonic AWASEWAZA NN-SV30YPQ? I'm thinking along these 2, which Sharp at $300 cheaper as compared to that of Panasonic but however just wasn't convinced that I should be forking out $300 more for panasonic just because its made in japan while Sharp is made in Thailand. to be honest, we don't really cook - have only used it to steam man tou / pau, bake a frozen pizza / fish fingers and microwave various items. the steaming works as advertised, the man tou and pau is soft and fluffy unlike microwave which makes it hard. never tried the panasonic before. i'm so behind that i only realised that panasonic and samsung made steam ovens after we bought the sharp.
