went to asia excel @ IMM. the one which suit a 750mm cabinet, only got 600mm. the next size is 800mm alr. the 600mm one is $196.

Yeah, for 750mm cabinet, u need a smaller one. But $196 is so expensive ...

I forgot to check mine last night but it's definitely less than $100

Actually, instead of song-cho, might as well get blum. Blum pricing should be between $70-90 also. And blum can withstand heavy weight also.

ya lilith, for ur case probably u shd seriously consider blum cos even the more costly drawer is still $100 plus a little. It will be lesser than songcho's or any other s/s drawers. jus get the ones that can sustain bigger weight. something like 50 or 60kgs? and if u still wan s/s drawer then u might as well get songcho. the tracks are smoother and the quality of the s/s is being tested and confirmed by so many ppl.

I suddenly thought of one other metal drawer company u can enquire. Genova, they sell a jap brand one but dunno how much. www.genova.com.sg Tel: 6299-0222

Yes, totally agreed. Most likely we will be going for Blum cos the price s comparable to Songcho.

hey thanks for helping to find out price of the rack. it is indeed pricey..as of now, we've decided to forgo the pull-out rack for woks due to budget constraints.

i have taken my stainless steel (grade 304) toiletries holder to spray clear lacquer (3 layers). As the holder will be put at a place which is perpetually wet, i decided to take extra precautions.

i think it might give some much needed protection. not sure if anyone has done it to their metal drawers before?

Reno Day 57
Major development: Plastering has been completed.
House now looks/smells/feels new!

1.jpg
The windows have been changed, but they were fabricated wrongly.
Now awaiting replacements.

2.jpg
Close up of the new chicken wire glass panel
that replaced the old louvered panels above the main door

3.jpg
MBR window grilles removed

4.jpg
View of the kitchen

5.jpg
Rubbish chute replaced
(Though I would have preferred yellow. Luckily its just a protective sticker.)
