lilithfiend 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2010 happy to help! btw, how much was your nespresso? and how does it actually work? are maintenance fees high? hb's aunt has a krups which breaks down once a year!
patsy_sg 1 Report post Posted May 10, 2010 i got the Nespresso as a gift from my fiancee's parent's, so really dunno how much coz they got the set with the milk forth thingy... it's the easiest way to get a good cup of coffee in the morning, just put in the coffee pod, press, and coffee comes out! they also got me over 20 boxes of coffee so haven't bought any yet but I think they're selling at taka for $0.90 per shot. I considered a Jura but since I'm the only one drinking coffee, one 200 gm pack of beans would last me forever and would go stale that's why the nespresso was the most practical one for me... lilithfiend 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2010 i see..so thats how it works..i've caught glimpses of it at taka before but never really got round to watching the demo.. but sounds like you'll have to stick to only nescafe coffee then? no other brand of beans? magyarposta 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2010 Hi Patsy_Ng and Umaisarah, Hope you can assist me. What is the height from the floor to the ceiling of your condos before you build the false ceiling please? Mine will only come in Ocot 2010 and now having disagreement with my fiance whether to build false ceiling to contain the downlights. Because both of us are tall. He is 1.8m and I am 1.7m. He is worried that once the false ceiling is built, the entire place will look even smaller. Your advice is deeply appreciated! Thank you! Cheers, Magyarposta
zoom13 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2010 Been busy unpacking, some pics to share. Living room TV console, with Samsung LED 3 tv and sound bar, love the way the cove light just warms up the room Is the sound bar good? $499 right?
patsy_sg 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2010 Hi Magyarposta, am not really sure coz never measured, but I think the ceiling at my place is pretty high, so the false ceiling doesn't really make make a difference. HI zoom13, yep $499. so far it serves it's purpose.... not 5.1 type surround sound but ok. Then again my taste may be more plebian than yours?? Not really a connosieur
