Indirectly buy 4 get 1 free but warranty wise might be an issue... Hihi, yes i did read before somewhere that people go in to buy fans and lights. Warranty is the only issue, but given that kdk is quite reliable, chances are it should be fine. but for most, we would only need 1 or 2 ceiling fans. Yours case of needing 5 fans is really unique...haha. I guess if you buy lights, switches and fans all together, then the trip to Malaysia would be really worth it! blues 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2010 (edited) most common brands work well we install one whereby speed 3 is very powerful but not speed 1 or 2 another brand, powerful and quite loud from our experience, confirm one thing, must install ceiling fan becoz very useful even when aircon is turned on, using ceiling fan will help to cool room much faster KDK is good if you do not need light with fan Edited May 15, 2010 by blues
titanax 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2010 How about Crestar or Alpha, these are also popular and resilient right? With so many brands in the market I'm still not decided which one to get. Not sure how much impact blade length actually makes & if blade material matters - if its acrylic or aluminum or wooden.

d'lotus 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2010 (edited) Elmark is sort of.... decorative fan... faster RPM does not mean stronger wind flow (it also depends on the design). Am going to get the KDK Sensa 5 (titanium Silver) [this model is called V60WK in Singapore] on my next trip back to KL and install it myself. Now, what can I do with my current fan? My current fan (SG one) model CS3 is really ugly... somemore bronze in colour... (clash with my white/grey hall colour theme) eventhough it is stated 'silver'.... Moreover, the 3rd party remote looks like crap and my Uni remote Harmony One could not detect the signal..... (no problem with the beautiful KDK remote.... it's in Harmony's database too) Edited June 1, 2010 by d'lotus
