Hitachi Washing Machine

Recommended Posts

Oh dear :(

Few days ago, my washer started to produce 'ta ta ta ta' sound when it turns to the right when washing or spinning :(

And we did not send out the guarantee card within 7 days of purchase!

Wonder if the warranty is still valid?

My hubby was angry & said that we shd have bought LG instead!

you can do online registration http://onlinewarranty.hitachiconsumer.com/default.aspx

As long as you had the receipt, I think the warranty still valid.

Is your washing machine place in level. look at the yellow circle. Is the round fall inside the centre circle.

booksntoys,

Your one is 8kg model right?

My machine is 8kg model. It does not allow me to adjust the spinning speed. The manual says its spin speed is 800. I always put my delicate clothes into a washing net, then throw them into the washing machine.

Therat,

Your one is 9kg model right?

mine is 8.5kg

Now wash twice a week. Sometime only 1/2 or 3/4 load

Oh! 8kg cannot adjust the spinning speed.

I think that is the reason I choose 8.5kg b'coz I want to adjust

wow, you're lucky!

I need to wash mine every day - even that's 3/4 to full load already!

the panel above the spin button shows '6, 3, 1' min.

think will go read the instruction manual lah :P

I've been using the washer daily since it was delivered to us 2 weeks ago.

Have been loving it.

The kong kong sound didn't bother us at all. I don't find it loud and noticeable.

Set it to Fuzzy all the time. Din bother to change the spin speed (dunno how to!).

Very happy with the dry-ness of the clothes after every wash.

The washing time is rather short too, always less than an hour.

Yes, and the ending music always bring a smile to my face :)

One reminder that all the washer salesperson tells me - always load the washer to 3/4 full if not it may spoil easily.

There is a press button under the spin section. Just press it will change. default is 800.

Normally I set to 600.

3/4 full load.. haha

sometime my wash not even 1/2 load , hence I use small load.

Oops I always fill my washer almost 100% full with clothes. After the water wets the clothes thoroughly, it will become 1/2 to 3/4 full. Am I killing my washer haha? :sport-smiley-004:

Kids ah...got neverending questions haha...

Just curious... What program did u all use to wash your clothes on Hitachi washer? I only use Fuzzy and Delicate programs. Did u all use Eco (Electricity) Save and Water Save programs?

Most of the time use Fuzzy program but i will set the spin speed to 600rpm. Except for more soiled clothes is 800rpm.

my family has no concern abt that kong kong kong.

only my child curious. keep on asking..

where the kong kong sound from

why need to kong kong

kong kong for what.

why why why

why until I cannot stand..

tell him.. kong kong is to tell u.. i'm washing now.. hand off :D

Oh!

need to fill up with water 1st..

ai yo.. wasted the softener..

Yes the saleslady at Best Denki told me that must add water to the softener before using. I feel it quite troublesome so i bought Downy brand which is quite watery but the fragrance is lasting, so don't need add water at all.

Lolz.... your explanation to your child is so special :)

My hubby say the "kong kong" sound like temple hiting the large bell.

I use the standard program.

At first, I anyhow set the water level.

Then later realize it auto detect how much power and water to use.

I let the machine do the job.

so far, my husband didn't complain abt his clothing not clean.

So No complain = no issue :sport-smiley-018:

My husband like this machine b'coz of the ECO save and water save.

If I don't use the feature, he will nag nag nag.

In order to save my ear, I better use
