therat 18 Report post Posted September 22, 2010 Oh dear Few days ago, my washer started to produce 'ta ta ta ta' sound when it turns to the right when washing or spinning And we did not send out the guarantee card within 7 days of purchase! Wonder if the warranty is still valid? My hubby was angry & said that we shd have bought LG instead! you can do online registration http://onlinewarranty.hitachiconsumer.com/default.aspx As long as you had the receipt, I think the warranty still valid. Is your washing machine place in level. look at the yellow circle. Is the round fall inside the centre circle.

therat 18 Report post Posted September 18, 2010 booksntoys, Your one is 8kg model right? My machine is 8kg model. It does not allow me to adjust the spinning speed. The manual says its spin speed is 800. I always put my delicate clothes into a washing net, then throw them into the washing machine. Therat, Your one is 9kg model right? mine is 8.5kg Now wash twice a week. Sometime only 1/2 or 3/4 load Oh! 8kg cannot adjust the spinning speed. I think that is the reason I choose 8.5kg b'coz I want to adjust

therat 18 Report post Posted September 17, 2010 I've been using the washer daily since it was delivered to us 2 weeks ago. Have been loving it. The kong kong sound didn't bother us at all. I don't find it loud and noticeable. Set it to Fuzzy all the time. Din bother to change the spin speed (dunno how to!). Very happy with the dry-ness of the clothes after every wash. The washing time is rather short too, always less than an hour. Yes, and the ending music always bring a smile to my face One reminder that all the washer salesperson tells me - always load the washer to 3/4 full if not it may spoil easily. There is a press button under the spin section. Just press it will change. default is 800. Normally I set to 600. 3/4 full load.. haha sometime my wash not even 1/2 load , hence I use small load. forgotten 1 Report post Posted September 16, 2010 (edited) One reminder that all the washer salesperson tells me - always load the washer to 3/4 full if not it may spoil easily. Oops I always fill my washer almost 100% full with clothes. After the water wets the clothes thoroughly, it will become 1/2 to 3/4 full. Am I killing my washer haha? forgotten 1 Report post Posted August 28, 2010 I like the ending music. Save me the trouble of walking to the kitchen to check whether the wash has ended.

I only use Fuzzy and Delicate programs. Did u all use Eco (Electricity) Save and Water Save programs? Most of the time use Fuzzy program but i will set the spin speed to 600rpm. Except for more soiled clothes is 800rpm.
