Newie-X 1 Report post Posted May 22, 2010 Hi, newie-x I was also recommended this model by Kong Tai and the salesperson keep on mentioning that Hitachi washing machine got this tangle free feature so that our clothes don't get entangled after the washing is completed wor. I am also looking at getting this model too. : ) the sales lady at best denki said 2 advantages: 1. the detergent in the detergent compartment - flow all the way to the base of the clothes, while other brands - detergent flow to top of clothes only 2. the filter is the non-net type

forgotten 1 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 Oh! ya you remember me. Thanks don't understand why need to make the washing machine base <sigh> luckily the previous previous owner didn't make fridge base. Or else I faint The base is to prevent us from weting the machines when we flood the kitchen with water hehe. Now machines come with stands, so the bases aren't needed anymore. therat 18 Report post Posted April 5, 2010 Surprisingly the previous washing machine still can work properly after the fall LOL! 5cm is definitely enough. Remember to also leave some gap behind for the pipes. Oh! ya you remember me. forgotten 1 Report post Posted April 4, 2010 (edited) break dance That's what we worry of. Is that the reason, why your old washing machine retire? The base is est 58cm long. The foot to foot distance is est 53cm. Hope 5cm is enough to be their dance floor. Surprisingly the previous washing machine still can work properly after the fall LOL! 5cm is definitely enough. therat 18 Report post Posted April 4, 2010 Erm my new Hitachi washing machine dances a bit when it's spinning, so please spare a little bit of space for your machine's dancing move. Last month, my old washing machine at my previous place actually spinned and danced until it fell off the base, pulled the wires & socket out from the wall, and caused a blackout! break dance That's what we worry of. forgotten 1 Report post Posted April 3, 2010 (edited) b'coz the resale flat that I had just bought already has a washing machine base. Just want to ensure the washing machine is not too big for the base. we try do minize the reno as much as we can. Just check with you another thing. Will the washing machine "dance" or 'rock' when it is spinning? regarding that 'S', don't know lay. I read thru' the spec. It does not explain what it mean.
