Hi guys

Received a letter from town council saying I have been fined for 3 dollars for not paying conservancy charges on time. Called up town council and they say they will not send any notice of payment; we must pay ourselves every month using AXS or credit card.

For those new flat owners like me, pls remember to pay your conservancy charges.....

BTW, my wife and I have problems deciding what to eat at Toa Payoh central liao....rather sianzzz.....any recommendations?

Yup, S$52 for 4 room flats. I would suggest paying by GIRO as it saves time and effort in paying the fees.

haha.. i kanna the fine too.. !! Initially i tot i was under giro only when i receive the summon than I realise i'm not. Anyway, the officer told me giro takes 2 months to process therefore we'll still have to pay at the town council or by internet banking for the month of april

Hi all

This is regarding the StarHub letter (Activation of Broadband-ready signals) that was placed on all our doors. I called the office and the guy told me that this company, CT Electronics (Tel: 62678422), is in charge of Toa Payoh Central Blk 79. These guys from CT electronics are apparent still 'hanging' around Blk 79 and going around doing the activation and testing if the cable points in the unit is working.

FYI, we saw our letter on the door last Saturday, but the scheduled appointment made by Starhub (stated in the letter) was a few days before that (we were at our unit the week before but no letter was there). Many may have missed their appointment I guess.

Do remember to call for appointment; otherwise deadline over may incur charges.
