coco_mybibi 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2008 Hi Redwyrm,Thanks for helping to check out the price. If you are interested to get Samsung, call James from Hong Liang electronics shop. He defintely offer a cheaper price even when compared to the price from last day of the PC Show. The model I am interested in is actually less than $6k. Free gifts will be the same since the gifts are from agent.

Mrs_Png 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2008 Hi Mrs Png,I'm also from Blk B unit 19, I am still looking for ID. I approached Ideal house for quote but have not met up for further discussion yet. Can you share your quote with me?I'm planning to overlay both toilets, kitchen floor and maybe even kitchen wall. Those ID I approached have quoted me 26-30K but with minimal carpenty (no feature walls). I think the quotes are not very cheap and want to compare around. Also are you planning to install aircon? Is it very hard to run the trunking due to the beams? Thanks Hi Carelinwen, glad to find another unit 19 neighbour... hee... my quote is abt 24k, and consists of kitchen cabinet, feature wall for bomb shelter and shoe cabinet, homo tiles for all rooms, suspended tv console, built-in wardrobe for all 3 bedrooms, vanity top for master bedroom toilet, shower screens for both toilets, grills for whole house, painting... overlay is very expensive wor... i have already done my aircon trunking... u may check out my blog for the pictures... coco_mybibi 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2008 Call james at 62736109. Only ask James as he is the boss. If you ask the quote from his staff, they will quote a bit higher and that amount is actually their commission.
Ptro 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2008 Hi neighbours!Sorry to cut into your LCD TV-buying conversation...Just wondering... I went to check all my tiles in my almost complete flat and found many spots (about 15) to be "hollow". When I asked my ID about it, he says that contractors purposely left such hollow spots as "breathing holes" for the cement to expand and contract. Is this true? That hollow tiles are common and even required? Ptro

The air trapped inside may weaken the tile and cause it too crack overtime. If your floor is marble/granite still ok coz the stone is hard. If is homo, then worry. My toilet floor experienced crack after >5yrs due to hollow base.
