Hi all

I finally collected my keys yesterday A total of 18 keys as compare to 27 keys (no bedroom doors). Went up to take a look, like the layout alto the rooms are really small as compare to 5 roomers.

And YES, the ceilings are higher. This time ID lugi as the built-in wardrobe has to be higher and he cannot charge me more for that.

For those who are dropping by tomorrow, let me know if 2pm is fine with you. On the list - Strawberry_pear, Redcrystal, Yel.

Did you confirm the PD doors yesterday ? FYI - my ID quoted me $720 for both toilet doors so he only earn $10 per door. My ID confirm he will remove the current thick door frame and replace it with the PD door frame. He has to do some adjustment to the thickness.

I am thinking of going IMM again to take a look at besglass for my kitchen door as it look good.

strawberry_pear & gadgetman..can check with u whether u calculate the overall tiling cost for overlaying ur toilet vs the quotation?

meaning the price for ur tile PSF x ur toilet's circumference

ya... i'm intending to let him quote me as well... am emailing him my requirments now lor... he look quite young leh... scare he's too young, no experience... so far, u like the design he came up with?? coz chrispy n i are quite fussy n we expect something diff and must give us a "wow" feeling...

so far, i find it comfortable with him cos he is the boss of substance. he has quite a lot of experience and actually the boon keng sers blks some of the residents also sign with him. for his design, i think u must talk to him more and show him some design ideas from mag that u like... he will accomodate that design and change it to something more unique for u... but pls be clear with design with him. his workmanship is good la and that;s what we are looking for

Yes, you will have to pay conservency charges for both flats and also PUB bills (electricity and water)

One thing to ask all those overlaying toilets, does your ID/contractor do another waterproofing layer before overlaying the tiles? I did hear before that the cost of the waterproofing is not cheap coz special "cement" is used so this aspect could be why some of you were quoted signifcantly different.
