wcseow 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2010 A quick update as both IDs came for a site visit today...... 1. Summit - 45 mins late but did inform me earlier. Look see, look see, do little measurement. ID came alone which I guess cannot measure too much.....The sessions goes like I am showing the house and he is buying it. We do discuss a bit on several design options but not too much detail. ID went away with a remark that the space planning/quote will come this week. 2. Intradesign - punctual!!!..lol. ID brought the carpentry man, which also did my other 2 places 3 yrs ago. Session was very detailed, going through various options, suggestions, etc..At the end of which, I already have a picture of the space plan, Alas, the quote could come only next week... Mickey M 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2010 for the Bedroom for the living room will probably pair it with Yamaha AV.... Hi Wsceow, Nice speakers. On parquet/laminates/tiles flooring, it is more of a personal preference. If u use parquet/laminates flooring for bedrooms, it creates distinction between the living room and former. Tiles flooring throughout the house gives a more consistent look. Usually, it create a more spacious feel. Pros and cons. I do agree on the maintenance part. But everything need maintenance. I believe if u love your own place, u will keep it clean regardless it is parquet/laminates/tiles flooring.
Angteko 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2010 This is the power socket I was talking about....power switch above the outlet anyway, have ask the ID to replace all the outlet... This one really unique...didnt see b4. But the switch is really a hindrance to any big head plug like wat u said.

wcseow 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2010 Fridge/Freezer selection.........this is most important to my mum....lol Deciding between two combinations... Combo 1, Panasonic and F&P freezer and Combo 2, F&P fridge and freezer pair, E373 and E308 and Sigh..another decision to make...... Combo 1 : my wife likes this combo, but kitchen design needs to take of the dissimilar dimensions, and future replacements if spoilt may be difficult Combo 2 : Easier to design and easier for future replacements.... wcseow 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2010 (edited) lol..just updated.....Combo1 1 Combo 4........................(Fulham vs Juventus scoreline) Hi Angteko 1. Parquet - my wifey preference.....this one I gave her more voting power!!!......lol 2. My mum stock a lot in freezer...and actually lol lol...my wife does make ice cream....for leisure....me and my kids missed her ice cream for a while now since we move out to this rental place...lol 3. My previous one we had a separate fridge and freezer too, my mum love it and I guess they kind of get use to have large freezer space.... 4. The way Inside Living works, it $500 upfront for perspective and design and after which if they got the job, they supposedly deduct it from the final cost.... coldflamez 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2010 That's just a tactic to make sure you sign up with them to avoid losing the $500! For me, i hate this kind of cheapo tricks... My contractor provided me with 2D and even 3D drawings before i signed up with him, although i must admit that is not common.
