Hi,

Isnt this from Bryan Wong blog. Have you tried dropping him an email? I like this design too actually. Part of therequirement of the show is to spent within $5k, so if they do not get real special price from the vendors, then perhaps this can be done really cheaply.

yes u are very right its frm his blog, wondering how much is the damage like for tis few pcs of wood with woodskin?

typically using plywood to do it. plywood is not expensive and can come in larger piece than real-solid wood like teak and etc. Woodskin, you referring to laminates, depending on the type of laminates, it is around SGD 50 per 4 ft x 8 ft piece.

I just DIY an cabinet/shelf to put on top of my current ikea work table - around 63" (160cm) long and around max height 32" (81cm). The whole project uses up to 2.5 piece of laminate and cost me around no more than 300 for the material excluding the tools.
