Cant just ask them "r u license electricians" I heard from my ID, the electrical company sure have an LEW in the company to endorse the electrical works done by that company. But the workers in that company don't have licence. Hmm.. Confused
snoopygal 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2011 wow thats scary...I even introduced JAE to my colleague~ But end up my colleague electrical work is small (not much profit) JAE didnt return a call~ Well...i guess he's too busy with other "big" projects.Haa, before i encountered all these problems with Sebastian, i also recommended a friend to him.My friend's electrical work also very small and on the appointed day to do the electrical work, Sebastian didn't turn up. My friend called him many times and he also didn't bother to return calls.
snoopygal 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2011 yes. One big-sized local indian and 2 banga/indian foreign workers.Three of them did the work badly, ccracked my kitchen wall tiles, uneven laying of casing. gave the big indian a fridge o the first day, he carted away, only to find out he left it on the lift lobby.Strangely, it disappeared a week later when they were supposed to turn up to do the wiring. Sebastian and his workers went MIA, including the fridge too.Seem we have the same workers, 1 big size local Indian and 1 very thin blanga/indian worker. The very thin blanga/indian worker is very hardworking albeit inexperienced. My casings were also unevenly laid with gaps at the adjointing corners.

Mine doesn't comes with it.I have to change whole house switches for extra $300 1) you're right, installation of downlights are priced on top of the cost of 'pulling' the new point.2) my electrician did not charge me for the cost of switches and powerpoints (normal MK brand). Maybe you're opting for those designer types of fanciful switches?? Edited January 27, 2012 by ken4228
Terencetcw 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2012 Hi ken4228,So for item1. He charges me wrongly. or think im a carrot head For item 2. single and double socket mostly are based on standard switches. Only those 1 gang/2..3 are fanciful but i dont think it cost $300 for getting all socket and switches from him. Most probably i will op out the $300 and go CCM to get my switch n gang.Any installation will be charge if i provide my own switches? Is my quote too exp?
