spikyfur 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2011 Need advise on the following quotes i got from my contractor. after comparing quotes on renotalk, i find mine a little ex. Price inclusive of MK big rocker switch. Electrical work - light supply by owner (qty to be re-quote after discussion) 1 to supply labour only to install light (supply by owner) $10 2 to supply labour only to install chandelier (supply by owner) TBA 3 to supply labour only to install ceiling fan (supply by owner) $45 4 to supply & lay / install loop point in L box holder $35 5 to supply & lay / install 13A single socket point $45 6 to supply & lay / install 13A double socket point $55 7 to supply & lay / install light point $35 8 to supply & lay / install fan point $35 9 to supply & lay / install telephone point $45 10 to supply & lay / install SCV point $85 11 to supply & lay / install oven point $90 12 to supply & lay / install cooker hood point $40 Questions. I having 12 downlight in my living room and 4 downlight in mbr, is the price for installation quoted ($35 x 16)install loop point + ($$10x 16)install light? And my cove is 1 continous 20metre LED Strip, does that means 1 loop point + 1 install light? Not much info on the oven point, but it kinda seems very expensive right? Faithful P 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) Hey pplJust called up Mr Keong @ 93832155. No answer but he called back 10-15 mins later. He quoted some prices over the phone and I find it quite competitive. I also had quotes from others and his is the cheapest. Not sure if I should engage him. Has anyone tried his services? I asked him if he is an LEW. He said his company is registered and he has LEW but couldn't find his company's name on the EMA website. Also to add, he is using Legrand switches.Anyone who has engaged him or with additional info to share is much appreciated!
