Peggytan 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2011 Hello everyone, i would love to recommand Sebastian. Engaged his services to rewired our 5 rms flat. Had ask some other electrician recommanded in this topic to come over to quote as well as Sebastian. Though Sebastian is not the cheapest among all, but his respond is the fastest. After seeing the recommandation of Sebastian, my hubby and i decided to go with him.Sebastian is friendly and easy to talk with. As mentioned, this guy is really young but experience. The first site meeting with Sebastian and my Designer is an eye opener. Can really tell how experience he is as he went through the points needed for our unit and even my designer got to come to me and say "Wow, where you find this electrician? He knows his stuffs well". My hubby and i were really impressed and glad that we engaged the right person for the job.The first day of electrical work (Dismantling of old cables), Sebastian and his team came at 9am, start dismantle all the electrical stuffs and the old lightings and so on. He really made the effort to take care of our marble flooring. my hubby even got his brothers to standby to clean up the unit after Sebastian and his guys is done with the dismantling, around 3 pm, we received a msg from Sebastian saying the dismantling is completed. So my hubby and i and his brothers went to the unit to do cleaning, when we step into the unit, we were really surprised. the whole unit is clean and cleared. Guess Sebastian and team had cleaned up the place and the debis. Really :good: Next, wiring works, Sebastian brought his team of 3 to our unit and start the wiring works. They have started at 9am and ended at 7pm. My hubby received his msg at 7pm that they have completed the wiring works. My hubby says cannot believe it lo so he wanted to go to the unit to check. He came back home with a surprised face. YES they've completed the wiring works!!! My Designers called the next day and say he was impressed too. My Designer also says that "Your electrician is giving me pressure lo, do thing so fast then i also must keep up to his pace"Next, Installation of Fans and lightings. Just for your information, we have in total of 42 downlights and 5 ceiling lights and 2 fans to be installed. Guess what? Sebastian came in the morning with 2 of his guys and they completed the job in a day again. Seriously very determind and hardworking guy he is. My hubby was at the unit "So call inspect the progress" said Sebastian does the installation himself too. My huuby even ask Sebastian why he as a boss got to do the installation himself. Guess what, he says thats how he motivate his guys, by working together is the way to bond. hahahaha. Lastly, Installation of sockets and handover. Sebastian came with just one of his guy and finished up the works and he went around doing the final touch up and he handed over our unit to us 3 weeks ago. My hubby and i was really happy with the service Sebastian had provided us right from the start. He got very high standards on his workmanship and his workers. That's why my hubby and i agrees that our electrical work is in safe hands. Really glad that we had made the right choice in selecting Sebastian to be our electrician. Was satified with everything so far. Oh yes and not forgeting his high standard for lights fittings, this boss will go around the unit doing the measurements and use his LASER to make sure that our downlights were in line. super duper professional. Sorry for the long winded testimonal, But seriously would recommand Sebastian highly. You will not regret in engaging his services.

yaolong 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2011 Just wondering how come everytime the good/positive testimonial given for Sebastian are always from those ppl who have <10postings?..Makes me wonder if they are genuine.. Hmm... I recommended him too... U can check out my T-blog for his works...
yaolong 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2011 The points system u gave is based on ur own experience so it is subjective...You also mentioned that the good reviews given are not truth... Can I say u r smearing his name coz u r a competitor?I am, still am, a customer of Sebastian. Right now he is doing the final phase of the electricity work at my house n I visit my house everyday. I have to admit he needs to b constantly reminded of the works that he needs to do e.g. The points, the locations of points and the things he missed out.But all these do not make him any worse than some irresponsible contractors who didn't complete their works but still have the cheeks to ask for payment. My payments to Sebastian are simple. He took down all old wirings and put up the new wirings, I pay. He put up all the lights, I pay. Now is, and still is, at the final stage. I am going to check on my house later. If you think that I am defending Sebastian, I am not BUT I believed to give credits when credit is due. Take a look at my T-blog and feel free to comment coz I am going to take photos of his works and post them in my T-blog. Hi all,Judge yourself on Sebastian mentioned above:-Price: 4 (there are a lot of cheaper contractors < $2000 for whole 4rm or 5rm house)The material provided like switches: 2 (I advice select MK)The workmanship: 2 (I advice you perform on side inspection before paid)Services: 2 (all the good comments above only on the initial only....most of the them not truth at all)his is not a licensed electrician. wojia 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2011 i am glad to know that Sebastian is still around. I have been trying very hard to reach him, left many messages and called him many times over the last 2 days to confirm our appointment with him at the apartment. he failed to turn up yst morning.he has collected $1200, which is 50% as deposit. he hasnt returned any of my calls nor messages and no work has been done yet.appreciate if anyone can help to ask him to contact me, from blk 64 marine drive. My experience with him- being 1st time renovating,i engaged Sebastian of JAE based on the good recommendations on this forum.- he impressed us with his punctuality and professionalism, very attentive to details on the 1st meeting.- paid him a 50% deposit the next morning hoping to secure his service fast as he had many projects on hand.- a week later, he came with 3 men at the appointed time to do trunking. his workers seemed inexperienced. but trusting Sebastian to oversee the work, we left them to do their work.- we returned the next morning to check out n found the trunking was done badly n not as discussed. several kitchen tiles cracked due to their drilling.- complained to Sebastian n he obliged to rectify some of the trunking after seeing the shoddy work done by his workers.- was impressed that he came quickly to look into the matter. we rescheduled for work to be done the next week.- however, for the past few days, i have been trying to call him to reconfirm our appointment, but to no avail. i waited 4 hours at the apartment hoping he would turn up. - no sound , no picture from Sebastian at all.Sad story. Work delayed now and I have to source for another electrician and money scammed.I have sent him a final message to return me my deposit of 1.2k by this weekend . Hope he do so.anyone knows if Sebastian mobile is still 90353559???
wojia 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2011 .... contdsourced urgently for another electrician as Sebastian had gone MIA on us.contacted a few electricians based on forum recommendation n most were unable to take on our job as it was so last minute.fortunately, contacted Mr Lye from Zenterra. Told him my sad story n he was sympathetic. He wasnt avaiable to end nxt week n I was prepared to wait.surprisingly i received his quotation within 2 hours(cheaper than Sebastian) I accepted his quotation without bargaining. He called back an hour later and arranged his worker, Daniel to view my unit on the same evening. Daniel looked around the apartment n was helpful and gave us his advice. He seems professional and was efficient. He will come to my apartment this AM to do the trunking and wiring. He didnt request for a deposit as he was aware of our situation. Hope this time it will go well. Meanwhile, thank yopu Mr Lye for his great help. will keep u posted.
