It really makes the counter top nicer Hi ngunadi May I know how long is your $18 T5 and does it comes with cover and switch? I just completed mine, and was charged $16 for 3 ft, $14 for 2ft, $12 for 1ft T5 with cover and switch type (slimmest). Wonder if mine was overcharged? Hi Ngunadi Can you post pic of your kitchen cabinet with T5? I am also thinking of the feasibility of that but the only down side is that that will eat into the top cabinet storage space, right? Already kitchen is so small ... Is your light the kind that is covered with acrylic or exposed?

ngunadi 2 Report post Posted April 13, 2010 Yesterday nite was quite busy. My contractor came for the final payment and some touch up. I would take photos of my kitchen cabinet tonight. From chanhuat, there are 2 types of T5 light, the one with switch and without. The T5 light comes in several lengths, the one i remember is 502mm and 902mm (which I bought). Interestingly, they both have the same price. The T5 light is covered with some acrylic and very slim. Initially the bulb is a warm-white but I request to change to cool white. It would be more suitable for kitchen.

Where is chan huat anyway? What we gog to do: 1. Ask carpenter to mount the lights (we don't have the drill to do that) 2. Connect the cable to the socket 3. Ask electrician to put casing in it

I thought warm white would be a better fit and more cozy feel. U got pic of your T5 on with kitchen? I'll try to get my T5 pic one of these day.
