Is this true? Can i seek compensation from them? What's in your quote? Does it say supply and install new W.C? If no, they have to compensate/replace a new one for u. Warrior88 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 Actually the cost of installation is almost the cost of the bowl. Good time to change to water saving type. Otherwise, next time must pay installation cost again
lawry 3 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 WC as in the sitting type? If there are tiles behind the cistern, they would definitely have to remove the toilet bowl before they can hack those tiles?? Although there's a way to remove the toilet bowl without damaging it. I know because there was something wrong with my installation and they uninstalled the whole thing before putting it back. leechaorui 2 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 Since you are renovating the toilet, it is quite normal to change the WC too. This should be part of the contract for the works. If it doesn't, you can negotiate with the contractor for a good price to install the WC.
