Guest airstriker Report post Posted September 23, 2010 Hi, Can anyone advice whether Blumotion Clip top use on normal SS hinge? No, it will not clip. Replace the existing ones to Blum hinges and clip on blumotion soft close. Take note, depending on the size of the door, normal lower cabinet need 2 hinges and 1 blumotion soft close. Do not attempt to save cost by using one blum and the other normal hinges. The reason??... Doors need alignment to look good, sometimes hinges adjusted too much and soft close doesn't work on that particular hinges, thus must change it to the other one.
