1.7k... ex rite? My fren did his house only 1.4k but is done by his relative la. Pls take note u need to pay gas piping for urself. Gas piping for living room area cost $120, from living room connect to ur hod area cost another $100. If u 1 2 fix gas heater there is another $60 for gas piping connection frm ur hod area to ur gas heater. Price only for gas piping fee not included Gas Heater itself. =)

You did the plastering for whole house? How much it is costing ak?

How much is the heater? Did you manage to get the promo price? One heater can be used for the two bathroom right?

hey, i like the effect of your green mosaic tiles extending to the floor, very nice. most ppl just stop at the end of the wall tiles. :)

and ya, citygas they charge installation fee for every single thing they do. i paid $260 altogether for 3 installations, pipe to hob, dryer & heater.

whiteoryx: i installed the citygas heater, they say it can supply hot water to 2 bathrooms at the same time.

Actually yes... They can connect it to the gas heater if u fix gas heater. I choose gas heater b'cos I'll nv forget to switch off the heater, I no need to fix 2 way switches and it more economic. What I said about the gas piping it exact same as water piping. They'll change all new piping from outside to ur kitchen if u r doing a full reno. Living area cost $120, Kitchen area to ur hob and hood cost $100, and connect to ur gas heater cost $60.

But then again, it also depends on the distance the pipe has to travel correct? My kitchen is just next to the gas pipe area and the pipe doesn't need to go thru the living room to get to my toilet :D

I think so. B'cos my layout is exact same as reuben so I just 1 2 let him know about this. For water piping I also learn a lot from one of my friend. On/Off valve for all piping through ur water tap for easy maintain and service. Check valve for washing machine tap to prevent water backflow to our drinking water/eat water tap.
