Mickey M 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2010 (edited) Day 34 The Singtel guy called early in the morning, and come on time at 10pm as he schedule. And luckily he is really a capable guy. He found out that the phone outlet is not on the side where i want to put the tv. But he carefully check the cable and re-route the phone cable to the other wall. I should really give credit to Singtel for this. Because there is another guy from Singtel back office calling to check whether they have a guy coming to do the instalation. Small working to concealed some pipe on the corner of cabinet. And dining table and sofa arrived. Pic of dining table base To be continued, busy to moving my stuff bit by bit I am not sure. Can we just set up the internet ourselves? What was the stuffs the Singtel guy did? Setting up internet or mio tv? Or both? A glass top for the dining table? Clementi_PR 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2010 Hey, your kitchen is looking good! Have you bought your sink? Cos some sinks cannot be undermounted. I bought mine before telling my contractor that i want to undermount. However the sink was not suitable to be undermounted, so no choice loh... i bought the sink already, but not sure it's over or under mount. Will just let the fate decide
Clementi_PR 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2010 I am not sure. Can we just set up the internet ourselves? What was the stuffs the Singtel guy did? Setting up internet or mio tv? Or both? A glass top for the dining table? Because i just install singtel mio, singtel guy need to come over, bring the set top box n modem. Before he came, my phone line is in the other side of the wall. And he said that singtel need the phone line in same point with tv/scv point. So he did re-wiring the phone line for me For starhub, funnily they didnot just stop the line in my prev address, but they allow both place (my old and new address) to have the line at same time. Regarding my dinning, will post a pic tommorow for you

ngunadi 2 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 i bought the sink already, but not sure it's over or under mount. Will just let the fate decide Actually every sink can be made under mount but whether it's nice or practical is another thing You can post your sink picture here ... usually in undermount sink, there are no "edges" near the border ... But somehow i didn't feel the 'coldness' of nature stone Anyone know how to determine wheter it is a natural marble or not?

ngunadi 2 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 Are you using IKEA downlight ? Btw, you might want to consider to put some base for your oven. Otherwise, when it's operating, it'd be too hot and will affect your white solid top. I did the same too
