purecat 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2010 This is called under-mount whereby the sink is place below the solid top,it looks neater, however...other might like over-mount,whereby u still can see the metal base on top of your solid top. oh thks, my current flat de is over mount then. I have one more question. If do undermount, and if for some reasons if need to change in future, is it more difficult ? Undermount> over wear and tear will the water seep thru ? to touch the wood ? If over mount, over wear and tear, the silicion we can touch up ourself... though undermount looks prettier. Haiz.. my sink i cant get the Sahara dessert colour ( Solid surface similar to this colour )... so it is a Grey sink... maybe it wont look so obvious if it is under mount ? Clementi_PR 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2010 i wonder u do alot of cooking or not?or heavy cooking? U gotta do alot of wipping on the glass panel lei. However it really looks great. Wifey cook daily, but never realy do "heavy cook" It is me that do the heavy cook occasianally We already consider about maintainance wise, but wifey said she will do the cleaning, as she used to it. She also did request to have a glass door between kitchen and living room, but i have no more "bullet" to fire

Clementi_PR 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2010 Day 34 The Singtel guy called early in the morning, and come on time at 10pm as he schedule. And luckily he is really a capable guy. He found out that the phone outlet is not on the side where i want to put the tv. But he carefully check the cable and re-route the phone cable to the other wall. I should really give credit to Singtel for this. Because there is another guy from Singtel back office calling to check whether they have a guy coming to do the instalation. Small working to concealed some pipe on the corner of cabinet. And dining table and sofa arrived. Pic of dining table base To be continued, busy to moving my stuff bit by bit
