Clementi_PR 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2010 Finally got my 3d pic from Jasper. See anything that don't look correct? Any comments are welcome. I still need to change a bit on the cabinet door under the sink. But still need to wait for the final measurement on the site.
Clementi_PR 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2010 hmm...is your sink single or double bowl? best to have it under-mount.will looks more neater! U doing solid top or granite top? I use double bowl. That what Jasper said also, but somehow my wife prefer top mount I am not sure what the diff between solid n granite top. All i know it was not natural granite. It was a man made granite. Is it same with the solid top that you mean?

gimz63251073 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2010 Hi, the fridge is abit far from the sink? wouldn't you need to walk right to the end to prepare the food? Oh yes, designer always don't put window grilles. Lightings sufficient? Might need to add more? Any washer, dryer, dish drainer or place to hang clothes? From the drawing, its simply filling up the space with cabinets, must get yr ID to sort out the details like which cabinet for putting what stuff, etc. Since you are paying them, why not? Halo Gimz63251073, Actually final design is the top one. It will be L shape And behind the sink, there will be a washing machine. For the fridge i purposely put it there, as i don't have wall between living room and kitchen. Hanger for cloth is behind the sink too. I ask Jasper to build a wall to conceal the hanger For the space with cabinet, we will try to discuss with Jasper. Thanks for your idea. So far Jasper try to ask me to change the whole cabinet door on top to use a glass (just like in the left most cabinet) while i only prefer to change another 2 on the other end of cabinet. Price per door 80$ What do you guys think? Will it make the kitchen looks better? TIA

Halo Rasfene, Thanks for your info, but we already decided and bought the sink And yes, it is more expensive, maybe because what i saw is not the stainless steel. L shape kitchen will somehow cut the kitchen up and would be smaller. But urs is 3 NG right, kitchen very big, so still good! The concealment of hanger would probably not hide the clothes you are hanging there, if any. oh ya, u gonna seal up the kitchen pipes at the corner using tiles? Using clear glass not a very good idea, let people see the untidiness.. haha.. not ideal unless u got all the time to arrange everything neatly. My dream is to use mirror as cabinet front. But too bad im so lazy to clean.

Halo Gimz63251073, Same with my Mum too Actually the fridge is not really blocking the entrance Anyway, we live in net 2.0 era already, kekeke I prefer L shape because can hide the washing machine behind the sink. About the hanger, yes it will not hide the clothes when they are hanged, at least it will look nicer at night when i am home Of course the pipes will be seal, but it will not be using tiles i think, i will have to confirm this with Jasper. For the top cabinet, we plan to use a little bit cloudy glass, not the clear one. Thanks for the reminder BTW just got another call from HDB (6395581X) They already inspect the site, and confirm it is the board near the lift landing that cause the splash to the corridor. they will ask "Lift" department to fix it
