yoongf 11 Report post Posted February 7, 2010 U unplug the oven. If u can on the outlet without any problem, and with a simple table lamp plugged in, then confirm the wiring no problem. Then 100% is the oven fault. Is the oven rated for the same power as the outlet? Some oven require 20A outlet due to the gigantic size to roast pigs.
Amir Hakim 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2010 Hi anyone can help? My own oven does not have this problem. BUT my mum and sis did suffer this issue Just wondering if you use your oven often, if months have passed and the oven is not used frequently it does tend to short the house. The oven people had to come and change the heating element as humidity had caused an issue i think ovens need to be heated at least x1 once a month to avoid this You could have a completely diff issue...but just sharing my own experience
yewmun@yahoo.com 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2010 Agreed with yoongf. If u plugged some other electrical item to this power point and the power don't trip then confirmed your oven got problem but if it also trips then the power point got problem liao. Hope this helps.
