ordix 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2010 if i am not wrong the sale ended today!! anyone knows where got such sales again?? been desperately looking for really cheap rugs now i went there today (5th feb) n reach the place at 525pm! the place was locked! luckily this young chap saw me "banging" the door n came back asked me if i was gonna buy stuffs so lucky... i got the exact same carpet at $80 i got from geylang serai last year which i think its cheap. geylang serai was selling $170 after bargain... bought 2 other designs too anyway the young chap told me that from monday onwards the price will probably go up 20% according to his boss which i tink still very good price, u shu check out there but if anyone decides to go there tomorrow (6th 7th feb), pls dun... because he told me that they are closed for the weekend as most of the staff go back malaysia for new year already... business will resume on monday.. so pls dun make a wasted trip... they hav 2.3x1.6, 1.2x1.6, and 1 more biggest which i forgot how big.. could be 3x2.3? they only open till 530pm everyday so bit prb for those ppl working like us. for 2.3x1.6, they have about 10-15 types.. those smaller ones (1.6x1.2) they have more range i tink.. they only accept cash and nets, if u go there around 5pm, pls bring cash... the netts machine was already locked today so i need to pay by cash, n there isnt any ATM nearby... i didnt have enuf cash in my wallet.. so i need to make another trip down to collect my carpet again next week hope this helps! Very good price but quality wise will update again after 3 months. If you not too particular about the quality, its a tempting deal. I was there during lunchtime, and what was pitched to me was they havent gotten round to updating (as in marking up) the prices yet, but will be doing so soon. So make of it what you will. I suppose the prices will still remain till end of this week. I dont know about the prices last week, but the bigger rugs (1.6x2.3) cost from 80-170. Hi for those going to jacksons and need to take cash, there is a POSB atm at the JTC factory nearby.
