ernieliew75 2 Report post Posted September 16, 2010 Anyway, just to warn all bros and sis that if u r approached by a guy called Mr Sim from HOCK SENG CURTAINS at your doorstep, do not engage their service. We were cleaning our house before shifting in, and this guy came in to sell his curtains. The fabric materials they use seems ok with lots of variety, and we engaged him to do up all the curtains at only $1050 which we thought its very cheap. During the installation day, he did not appear, and the workmanship for the curtain was bad. Very poor tailoring work, cheap curtains and side hooks, only straps given for MBR, curtain measurement were shorter than actual measurement, no overlapping and velcro as promised. Curtain canno fully close and lights are coming in from the gaps from top and joints. Damned pissed off... Tried to call him and SMS, but did not reply. We ended up buying curtains from Ikea to replace. Whatever promises were not delivered and entertained. Even the guys doing installation gives attitude problem, and just reply 'its like that'. Regretted to give full payment. Felt so stupid...

ernieliew75 2 Report post Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) hi ernie, looks like the sierra sofa how was the delivery - hassle free? what kind of lead time did they need? Hi Titanaz, I gave them 1 month notice, and delivery was a breeze. No hassel at all and the staffs are very professional in handling. In fact, the 3-seater came up from stairway. Very hardworking guys. As for the sofa, its comfortable, but too big... our initial plan was to put them adjacent to each other but the place would look more cramp, so we split them to 2 different sector as shown in the pics I've posted. Anyway, before you confirm the delivery, its best to ask them to make the cushion slightly softer. Maybe its new, but I find the cushions a bit stiff. Cheers. ernieliew75 2 Report post Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) I like these potted plants! Where did you get them from? I got them from IKEA, $4.9 each, the vase cost $1.9 each. Planning to go again to get more. Nice and cheap and maintenance free. :-P Edited September 17, 2010 by ernieliew75
