Oops:

- Main dr facing 5 panels of window directly.

- BR 2& 3's shapes

- Kitchen/MBR at back -ok.

- May have natural airflow problem if 3 bed room's dorrs closed.

This is my 12ft mirror next to dinning table which I mentioned in earlier post. Left side is under repair(surface uneven). Second picture: RHS is the 10mm thick tempered glass allow more light from kitchen to dinning area.

So long as no obstruction to ppl/chair movement, why not?

You can place mirror any way you like, but it will not double the food as some people claim it.

Why? The answer is very simple!

You think only the food on the table is Double? How about you and people sitting around the Dining table? Are human beings invisible in the Mirrors? Did you see yourself and food on the Table? So, double Yourself + Double Food, in the end, do you get Double?

NO!!

IMO, its all depend of what you looking for. If you need to reflect your dinning room to looks bigger than it is fine but it is important to consider the house feng shui before the installation. You need to check on the followings:

1. Does it reflect your maindoor, kitchen door and bathroom door and also is there any unpleasant view in your external environment that can be reflected into the mirror.

2. Is your dinning room sitting on good sector using the 8 Mansions, the flying stars theory or even other theory. We do not want to expand the bad sector.

Some people believe that it could cause distraction while eating your food because we love to look at ourself whenever there is a mirror in-front of us.

i have a big mirror in dinning area. so far nothing good or bad has happen.

my main reason to put the mirror is to create illusion of a bigger living room.

i heard an old tale that when eating dun look into mirror, or else all faults when be on you. (dunno is it true.)
