Does anyone here know of a good plasterer who can patch up cracks in a plastered wall? The current section has spalled and i would like for that section to be replaced and redone. Thanks.

Normally they will patch up the cracks with putty.

Would vinyl based putty make a diff? Seeing that it is more flexible than plaster based putty.

I do know of a type of wallcovering that can solve wall cracks for good. The wallcovering can also provide texture feel for the wall which might beautify the room. You may go wkmarkets.com for more information.

this would be better, can prevent cracks from forming again.

btw, spalling concrete and wall cracks are totally different thing. Spalling concrete usually can hold like 5yrs or so b4 coming back again.

I can't recommend any brand but I'm sure that there are really lots of great products out there in the market that can help you cover it.
