fftw 1 Report post Posted April 29, 2010 Hi fftw am asking on behalf of my colleague who has also got a unit at the Pinnacle.. she was told by her ID that to build a full height cabinet, she needs to put chemical on existing wall tiles, then plaster to build wall.. this costs about $900.. did you have to do the same? or just build on the wall tiles? tks I have no idea what my contractor did to tell you the truth. I left it to him & he quote me a price for all the capentry. He never mentioned anything to me about the chemical wash.
fftw 1 Report post Posted April 29, 2010 (edited) hi gal, am planning to purchase the citygas heater and dryer. Am also staying in pinnacle. Any problems with them? Seeing that the heater has to be installed in the yard, would the flame be extinguished easily, every time the wind blows? and am also eyeing on the 6door panansonic fridge... any advice? Thanks. I have no issues with my City Gas Dryer. But if you wish to install the City Gas Heater make sure you insist that City Gas install the heater as high as possible, rather than at eye level. Otherwise, the flame will constantly be extinguished. As mentioned in my blog, we installed the gas heater higher than what is recommended by the City Gas technician (which is much lower) as his recommendation will mean that the heater is constantly in our faces when we open the yard door. It was a blessing that we didn't listen to him. The only issue with installing the gas heater much higher is that you should not use the laundry pole closest to the gas heater, in case whatever you are hanging chases fire. Bought mine from http://www.hogarmas.com/index.php at $30 Hi fftw am asking on behalf of my colleague who has also got a unit at the Pinnacle.. she was told by her ID that to build a full height cabinet, she needs to put chemical on existing wall tiles, then plaster to build wall.. this costs about $900.. did you have to do the same? or just build on the wall tiles? tks just grind and plaster. can be done in 1-2 days. $900 is too much for the work. strawberry8 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 Hi fttw I checked the IKEA bathroom sink and the width was 100cm. However, yours seem shorter as the IKEA standard 100cm has lots more space on the right side of the bowl. Did you cut the sink? What is your dimension now? how much did your contractor charge you for the bottom drawers? Can you upload pictures of the drawers when opened ? Thanks!
