omelil 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2010 you should consider getting an alternative quote from another contractor or ID you might happen to know or recommended by other frds.. 37k is a lot of $$ for a premium flat's design and renovation. can understand that he/she is your frd and would be sincere in doing a good job for you for a premium price but really are you gg to spend 37k? dont rush, get another quote and ask to see completed unit to view if possible at least you can see e workmanship for yourself. And you can consider saving your $$ for good furniture instead of tons of built in carpentry because built-in furniture does not add much value to your house should you decide to sell in 3 to 5 yrs.
