d'lotus 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 My condo came with MK big rockers. Chose the same during reno. Yes, it's a little 'noisy'... but it's not like you are doing 'it' all the time Hi guys... after 6 months in my new condo... a few irritations surfaced The light switch for one of the room is located in a 'not normal' position... instead of beside the door... it's on the left wall 4 feet away - just after the door when it's fully pushed in. The one switch for the common bathroom is located side-by-side with the switch for the water heater (it is lighted 'red') when it is switched on. Ok, here's the issue - we have to grope for these 2 switches in the dark and as a result, the area around the switch is 'darker' with grime from 'unsuccessful' attempts Are there any switches with locater light that I can replace with? Appreciate brand/model.
smjas 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 Anyone know is there any designer single faceplate for 4 data/voice points? Two for data using Cat6 and the other two for normal telephone line?

epigram 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2010 if you're gona provision for Opennet then cat6 would be ideal yes, that would be ideal. but it would be a waste to tear out the existing concealed cat 5e to put in cat 6.

smjas 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2010 Yes, if there is a 4-port option, it will means 1 less casing box. But not sure whether Legrand has the 4 ports or any other manufacrurers have that. there is a 4 port option? i can consider that then! less casings
Sno 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2010 Hope this help: Exposed: Concealed: Hi Reiki, I saw ur photo showing the exposed legrand switch. Do they sell the champagne coloured base as well? Was told that clipsal bases are all in white. Not sure if legrand is otherwise.
kyo56us 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2010 Hey guys I was wondering, isnt clipsal like close down or taken over by some other company already ? I think if you could find clipsal in the market now are all consider old stock. But i do love the classic design of the Legrand plugs, the are more classy as compare to the conventional type of switches be it 1G or 2G, just my 2 cents though. but getting all the legrand faceplate for the RJ45 or RJ11 is kinda expensive so i was searching for a bargain at sim lim tower and came across this shop at the basement with green neon light for those who are interested in it, walk around and take a look you cant missed it. Anyway i found this faceplate which are not bad looking at a sligtly cheaper price of around $1.80 per plate excluding the base and the keystone, they also have a range of keystone avaliable from AMP and Clipsal (i think is the old stock) the AMP are around $4.80 and the OEMS are around $3.80 and the best part they are not GST regiestered so i kinda save on the 7%.
