0my5 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2011 During my sourcing.. I have sent out many emails to renovation ID's & contractors. iDzign is one of them & their 1st quote was impressive fast.. however some items a bit missed tally based on my requirements. So called up & spoken to Mr.D to rectify those items. No attitude & very friendly lad.. took down all my queries & promise to revise the quote & send to me again shortly. Then, no news from him & I also not keen as his first quote still on the high side among others. moissanite2 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2011 (edited) Did our fair share of ID shopping and finally engaged Idzign as my ID. Their price is reasonable. I can't say rock bottom cos I think I'm fairly charged for quality. Fabian is simply fabulous! He is very experienced, not pushy at all and is able to propose good ideas for us after hearing HTB and my likes and needs. My HTB and I are very comfortable communicating with him.Regarding hidden cost, I think it's inevitable cos there would be changes along the way. I was concerned about this too and asked Fabian. He's upfront about it and prep us on the possible areas where top ups might be needed. I think for my case, it would be topping up for nicer tiles or mosaic, using better mechanisms or handles for cabinet or wardrobe doors, and the additional lighting points because we are using many downlights. There would be other unexpected changes along the way, like having to conceal pipes or beams at unexpected locations unique to different houses. One has to be realistic about budget and strike a balance between the wants and needs.Hacking started today... Can't wait to see the finished product! Got a very bad experience from him. Responsive was **** fast before everything was finalise. Once all documents were signed and reno done, the followup service sux! Till now it has been more than a year and all the follow ups were not done! I had really regretted recommending my friends to him as they face the same issues as well. As for my own hse, i had to engage another reno firm to finish off the touch up left over.
JaniceTeo 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2013 Completed my renovation with iDzign, I had a good experience with my ID, Darren. He’s patient and not pushy. Pricing wise is reasonable and competitive. Although there’s some slight hiccups along the way, but Darren is committed and manage to resolve them. Workmanship and after sale service is good.

VictorKee 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2014 Hi,I am thinking of engaging iDzign for my reno. I'm very happy with the ID and his attention to details and our needs. To those who have used iDzign, how's the workmanship? Thanks! I engaged iDzign in Dec 2013 for my 5 room flat in Jurong East, their workmanship is very bad, in particular to the tiling works for toilet & wall plastering. It is really a nightmare to engage their services.....

It is really a nightmare to engage their services.....The reason is because they engaged diffrent subcontractors workers from Malaysia, and eventually the poor workmanship had tarnished its reputation. VictorKee 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) The wood furniture contractor that partnered with iDzign also not up to my expectation due to certain defects they did not want to rectify & just walked away.... very irresponsible service.... The contractor is located in Johor Bahru and ironically the company name is called "Super Perfect Interior Design". I swear that in my lifetime I will not engage their service any more..... very sad experience. Edited August 21, 2014 by VictorKee
