Hi, does anyone have an experience in staining teak parquet flooring? I want to stain mine to a much lighter natural / light oak colour, but not sure what it will look like. Thanks!

Staining of teak wif lighter colour is nt advisable.. cos teak is darker and contain oil which will surface and b visible. For teak, darker stain is more appropriate

u cant stain a wood to a lighter color. u got to bleach it.

correct method should be (machine) sanding..

sanding will cause the color of wood to become lighter. but after applying the varnish/coating the color of the wood will darken again.

its like pouring water on dry wood.
