eugela 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 Yes plaster all walls within the unit. Quoted $1900. And for those who wanted to know how much to 'slant' the door for fengshui. I was quoted $550. I am also quoted the same amount to shift the main door but another 500 to hack the orig frame and install a temp frame in order to shift the metal gate. I din shift my metal gate frame cos i will look very weird from the outside and HDB will not approve. But the metal gate will be changed to a wrought iron gate. eugela 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 PRECISELY! HOW ANNOYING! Can the dryer be shifted by your contractor or must it be done by citygas? I can imagine how you feel, some ppl just install without thinking.
Mickey M 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 PRECISELY! HOW ANNOYING! Hi Kruncho, Just call up citygas. Worst case scenario, u just have to pay for some charges rather than regret later on.
kruncho 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 Why should I pay when they did the screwup?
Amy Choon 1 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 Why should I pay when they did the screwup? who actually directed the city gas guy to the installation point? And did not check after that? Did you call citygas?
Mickey M 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 Why should I pay when they did the screwup? Maybe they will adsorb the costs. Try calling up. The fact remains that the owner wasn't there to supervise on the installation position.
