Our New 5i In Bishan

Recommended Posts

Here are some pics of the existing condition

Balcony/main entrance area. We will be adding a red painted tempered glass above the tile area for the altar.

Need to hack and cement screed part of the living room area that has wall tiles.

Kitchen view

Other things we wanna do.

1. Do up both toilets and kitchen with bottom cabinets and 1 full height cabinet. India granite for kitchen top.

2. Install laminate wood flooring in MBR and BR3

3. Hack the left side of the kitchen entrance and extend the other side, idea is to block the view of the L-shape kitchen cabinet part that has the sink

4. Hack a door opening between MBR and BR3 as that will be the children room

5. Polish the marble flooring at the living room, BR2, study and store

6. Seal up the ventilation outlets above the doors

7. Change the BR doors to veneer and re-varnish the main door. Also change to wrought iron gate

8. Change rubbish chute to stainless steel

9. Shower screen in MBR toilet

10. Feature wall with side cabinet in living room

11. Divider between balcony and living room

12. 6ft top book shelf in BR2

13. Feature wall with sliding door in MBR

14. Painting, plumbing and wiring work

We have brought in the lightings and taps ourselves. Managed to save some $ there.

That's about all for the time being.

waahhaa.....it looks like the previous owner like "kitchen-tiles" very much !!!????

seems all the walls ....****...& kitchen are the same......even in bedroom ?....oops...did i see wrongly....... :D .....?

So.....you going for major reno huh?..... :good: ...anxious to see your transformation....

Cheers!....bishan-neighbour..........

The wall tiles are at the dining room area starting from the kitchen entrance wall all round to the edge.

Somthing like a 'C' Shape.

The walls at the living room side are concrete. *thankfully*

The bottom part of the balcony also have tiles but we are leaving that intact.
