I recently engaged an old uncle to install 3 basins for me, and I found this old uncle skill is really bad and like to overcharge on the spare part used. He charged me 90+ on the spare part connection used for installation with receipt. I have to go through every single item with him to check whether those parts are indeed used for my installation. In the end, only 30 dollars worth of parts were used. What is more!! After installation, the night i have leakage in all 3 basin. Next day I called him to come down again to correct the problem. After that the 3 basins look fine with no leakage. He asked for additional charge as he needs to come down 2 times. I argued with him that I am not going to pay extra charges for his bad skill. And now I found another leakage, I called him to come down to rectify the problem. He refused to follow up on the **** that he left behind and hanged my phonecall also. His contact is 97246511. The solid top was well done (he subout to 3S Solid Top), but the tap was leaking. The contractor took ages to reply and after coming down and check. He said that as the tap was a recycle one, he couldn't do anything asked me to buy new tap and the flexible connector. After I bought them and sms him and again waited ages to receive his call to tell me that he would send a plumber to fix it and I had to foot the bill. Reason with him and he said that as long as he fixed the sink and the tap, he had done his job and he is not HDB licence contractor he's not afraid that I feedback to anyone, then hung up the phone. Very mad with such person. His contact is 94220515. Is the tap that the plumber installed new or old (existing tap before you change your solid kitchen top) one? If it is the old one and problem surfaced after he installed, it is very subjective. But if it is a new tap, he should fix the problem for you without additional charge.
