noobsea 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2011 it depends on how much you need for your renovation amount. Like for mine case, my renovation quote came up to 33k but RHB only loan a max of 30k. So I found out that actually DBS can do individual reno loan of up to a max of 30k. So me and hb loan 20k each from DBS at the rate of 5.8% and can early redeem this whole loan at the rate of 1%. hope it helps.

JCase 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2011 Hi, i am a banker from Maybank who is doing renovation loan, can i offer some help to your renovation question? from the question you posted yes is truth that you can only get one renovation loan from one bank on a single property, you can't get two renovation loan from two different bank on a single property at the same time. cos if any bank find out both bank have the right to call back the loan immediately. I've asked a loan specialist about this and it is not true I'm told. Same situation, I apply personal loan from 1 credit card means and I can't get loan from different cerdit card / bank? So if you takeing max of 60K it's 1.2K for them to approve your loan.
