I know this is a problem but it is how the apartment was built and I cannot renovate at this time. Is there anyway for me to neutralize the situation? Can I put something in between the stove and sink to balance the fire and water elements? I heard that placing a plant is a solution. Is this true? Another thing is that the counter is level from the sink to the place for the stove. Once I place the stove on the counter, it will be higher than the sink. Will that be another problem? How near are both of them? The stove and the sink are less than 2 feet apart from edge to edge. What can I do about that? If I can't place a plant, what can I place in between?
