actually, the mattress industry is a very sales oriented industry. A lot of the sales pitch is very intangible. Ultimately its how you feel when u sleep on it. Thinks like coil counts, latex or rubber or foam, how many layer of latex or how thick the latex, etc etc all dun really matter.

Most mattress shops i think can bargain a bit. We tried and say that dunno this place that place i can earn more credit card points and all that. The salesgirl actually reduced the price to give us a "special discount" to match the difference.

They earn on commission. So you can cham siong a little bit. You can say u choosing between 2 different brands like serta vesus simmons. If they are logical, they will try to earn a little less rather than not earn at all.

say if i dun use credit card, so how much "price difference" can i actually try to bargain down

$500? & e exception can't bargain will be places like robinsons, courts, harvey norman those type shopping centres then?

i use harvey price to bargain at sealy boutique as well as courts and back to harvey norman. all willing to match each other. around 300 off the listed price:)
