bluezz 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2009 Hi, Do need some help here. My house has already finished renovation, and recently, hubby wan to install ceiling fan in the living room.. Our living room is L-Box, but our concern is will there be any trucking around the ceiling if we are to install the ceiling fan?? When we bought the house from HDB, the wires are already concealed by HDB. Somemore, we do not know where our contractor hide those wires when they do the L-Box. Went to ask around and the shop assistant say that it’s a must to have trucking. Is it true?? If there’s trucking, won’t they hack my L-Box as well. Some shop assistant say need to find a very good electrician to find the hidden point.. Have anyone encounter the same pro as well, or anyone have a good electrician to intro.. Hi, if there is no existing point for ceiling light, then there is no other way but to have the trunking. If there is an existing lighting point, then u can use the same point to install the ceiling fan + lights (if you are concern about brithness) Maybe a picture will help to clear the topic.
