jeslyn lam 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2009 Few months back went to Singapore expo for my 'furniture shopping!' Was so lucky to have found what i really wanted. Purchased a sofa, a dining set, a coffee table and a TV console from FOL'. During my shopping at Expo, a sofa caught my eye which was seen earlier at furniture club showroom. Was served by a person name Marcus Goh who is the event manager. And guess what?! From him, i then know that FOL is furniture club! Furniture club provides high end furnitures... went to their showroom previously and found the furnitures abit too pricey. Like their furnitures' designs alot but can't really afford. As i have quite tight budget for my renovation, i can't spend too much on my furnitures. Marcus was so patient with me and my husband! (for more than 4hrs..oh gosh..) It was rather embarassing though. He kept explaining and preaching about the products' details, plus doing calculations for us... making it so uncomplicated, it was amazing. The ideas he provided were great. He taught me and husband to DIY our home sweet home which costs us less than 15k (with build-in wardrobe, paintings, ceiling & kitchen cabinet were all his lobang he intro)! Been to several designer firms, they quoted us with an amount of atleast 22k -29k. Doesn't that save alot? How lucky for us to have met him. I got my furnitures at the most affordable price among the outlets of furniture club. I'm really satisfied. Relatives & friends came to my housewarming and were surprised with my home design at such a bargainable rate. Everybody loves it! Today brought my cousin down to Expo, cus she's moving to a new house soon. She and her husband bought a sofa, a dining set & coffee table from Marcus eventually. My cousin's husband is a professional leather upholstery specialist and revealed that the leather was indeed a fine leather with high quality. They commented it was really great to have been served by him although a bit 'loh soh' at times. hehe. Anyway they feel really comfortable when served by him & all of us were laughing so much! I strongly recommend anyone who wants to get furnitures at gd price and quality to look for him. He's real amicable & nice. Especially newly wed couples , if you have tight budget & stuffs, whatever concerns you have, just voice it out to him & im sure he'll do his best in whichever the situation is. You won't feel pressured into buying their products as what compared to elsewhr!

babyziyi 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2009 Thanks for your advice. where is S & K ? I have bought most of my furniture. Left 2 Tv console and 2 writing tables for the room i also want to know where is S&K? i want to buy so many things for my new place.. I bought my stuff now from furniture club and i think it is so pricy and not worth it! my beds, matresses, sofa and dining set are from them... hay... they told us that it was all genuine leather (chirs and headboard) but it is just PU (softer PVC)... we were newly weds back then and was so inexperienced as to knowing materials and price ranges... after sales service really sucks! two years ago, all their matresses are all JG Nino brand... now i think is Morfeus.. but then the JG Nino is not good and FC don't even help us for our complain... I saw some of the sales person in FC are now in the other furniture company called "Species"... specifically the guy named "Leslie"... hay... they are not trudtworthy as what we have experienced! For my new place, i'm looking at buying cheaper stuff and just use them for 1-3 years at most then buy a new one... For renovation, anybody who have feedback using U-Home interior design firm?
