Reno Day +18 (11-04-2010)

More updates, more pics.

A view of inside the kitchen

Yet another view. Kinda difficult to convey the sense of spaciousness the kitchen has at the moment with a photograph. Don't think my photography is doing a good job at establishing a sense of scale. Anyway, once the cabinets and appliances are in, bye bye space, hello clutter.

Marble tiles that will be eventually used for the MBR toilet (Curiously, not sure why there are so many pieces here for a really tiny toilet)

A close up of the marble (Again, sorry about the condition of the lighting. Flash photography kills details :( )

Ah, mystery solved. Asked my contractor about this.

Our very nice contractor brought a truck load of marble tiles (more in the MBR) and had them all splayed out on the floor. Was wondering why there was so many. Clearly our tiny toilet didn't need that many. As he explained it, he had all tiles laid out so that he could pick, match and tag the tiles that will be eventually used. This was to ensure aesthetic consistency. He will haul the remaining tiles back. Wah, this is how the professionals do it. Very very detailed and methodical. :good: :good: :good:
