I like ur bean shaped study table. am deciding what table to buy for my son and this might do the trick. How much was it? how abt the chair from vhive? What is the price like and is red the only colour?

wow, the night light power wor. It's pretty bright. ur princess can slp with this light on ah?

The ikea bean shape glass table is $359 excluding installation 6% , excluding delivery $55. Hence suggest if you do buy from Ikea... better buy all in the same trip, then can make the delivery charge more worth while.

The vhive chair is $149. The cover can be removed ( zips ) then take out to wash if need to. I am not sure about the colours , maybe u want to call and ask. The contact no for vhive at Jurong Mega Mall 6264 7865. This item is Task Chair TCT048 Red 6600.

I think I could have brighten the photo on my cam in order to see the contents clearer . It is only a 7W lamp hence is not as bright as in picture but should give a cozy feel. My girl girl only starting sleeping on her own in start of primary 2 and it is always with lights on .

The zigsaw puzzles I have done for her are now up , leaving more space on the right ( near table ), maybe for future zigsaw projects.

Haha my MBR toilet has the same fat pipe and window placement... I guess it's the same for your previous place too? so irritated and still thinking how to hide them i think your shower curtain did a good job in "concealing" the pipe actually haha

Btw, for your kitchen, is the walkway between washing machine and the washing basin narrow? I am considering a similar arrangement but not sure if the walkway is enough or not...

The big pipe yah for master bedroom sort of conceal. but common toilet no choice.. just live with it

for kitchen behind the L ( near washing machine is ok for walking. think ur contractor will be able to reply if practical or not. Initially we want to do an Island... but space consideration not practical because i dont want to squeeze in the fridge as part of the L cabinets... because i am used to alot of cabinets.. and i really have alot of stuff.

Total excluding lightings but including aircon = $54k ( including revised items)

Total including lightings +living room TV + study room furniture + daughter's room furniture, + leather sofa, dining table = $72k

Hi i think u are mistaken... the loan shark problem is previous flat not this 5rm flat lolz.

and that was like 6 yrs old when i shifted into the 4room then ? ermm i wont have the draft liao

But i suggest you better make a police report. only then police can investigate and step up on their patrolling efforts.

Just receive the quote from Decormark last Wed. Exceed our budget and we saw a few " markup " basis experience from our past flats . We will most likely check out a few contractors as well since it is still early.

We wanted granite ( going for long term durability ) but not sure can afford or not ? Labour costs seem very high.

Granite choices are limited. Alot look like " Ah Ma " Clothes Fabric print ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> No wonder some forumner decided to hack their resale purchase that comes with granite flooring .

If we do go for granite, ideally it should be the sleek colour black , but prices will be high... room will be dark...

Anyway we are visiting Inspiration Living ( Neighbour's friend ) tomorrow. Already know roughly if we do Granite, will exceed budget, so we told the guy to revise another two sets, one with marble flooring, one with homogenous tiles.

But honestly havent given up. We will try some contractors to see how much we can save as compared to an ID.<!--fontc--></span><!--/fontc--><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

i'm new so this might no longer be useful but i feel compelled to reply. i've had a bad experience with inspiration living. if you want a cookie cutter home then by all means go with them, otherwise they seem sorely lacking in imagination or drive. i suspect strongly the 3d drawings they provide are almost always recycled. even after i commented, they persisted in providing dishonest drawings.

if an ID is supposed to conceptualize and design your house, that includes choice of tiles, lighting and bathroom fixtures no? inspiration living sent us searching for the aforementioned all by ourselves with no regards or consideration to the overall thematic appearance of the house. in retrospect, they never did propose a wholesome theme.

you'd be better off with a contractor...
