Hi Peeps!!! I'm back!!!

I'm posting this on behalf of my sis who's gonna revamp her house pretty soon....Hope to get more ideas from everyone esp all the pros here (you know who you are)...

anyway if anyone who's technie savvy, pls help to show the transformation of the house....Million Million Thanks!!!!

Will upload floorplan in awhile.....

They are a young couple who probably won't cook much, would like to have WIW, Study area, mini Gym(??) in the house....also sometimes nieces and nephews could be staying overnight at their place....

Hohoho, congrates to ur sis!

For me, I would really like to extend the MBR in order to get that WIW. The end of the dining/family area will most likely either be empty or a little cozy corner that's mostly wasted. If u hack away the wall next to MBR entrance and extend, that area can be the WIW. Only con is that there'll be no sunlight coming in from that end liao, and that the space will be small.

Can consider an open concept kitchen too, with an island similar to new's. Then it can double up as dining table as well as additional work space.

my sis went to one of those id in imm yesterday...the person suggested also extending the MBR but its on the side of the toilets...based on his calculation, can have 13ft of WIW....the windows side he propsed to do up as a mini study room with half wall and glass....

I didn't get to hear the others....

*scratch head* how to extend MBR on the side of the toilets? Will ur sis need a study/wk rm since they r a young couple? If there's no need then just keep that space as a cozy corner or sth loh. Or maybe that mini gym. haha

the layout is same as mine yah? except balcony is different location.

the mbr mebe can do like wad i did.. a partition since i cant combine 2 rooms..

my reno is still in progress but it be done v soon. Left only carpentary

Erm.. here is a sketch of the partition. We shifted the basin out to the vanity table (in green)

If ur sis layout is e same as mine, then the toilet is v small. We placed a glass panel inside the toilet so no space for basin anymore.
